Join us in Tuscany in 2025 for a wonderful week of “terroir” knitting with Cocoknits!
Spend a week with us relaxing and knitting in the luxurious surroundings of a beautiful villa in the countryside outside Lucca in Tuscany. You’ll knit a sweater using a Cocoknits pattern with yarn purchased at Italian yarn wholesaler mill, Borgo de Pazzi, innovators in the production of recycled natural yarn. You’ll choose what you need for your knitting project from their range of silk, cashmere, angora and mohair blends.
From total beginners to expert knitters, all are welcome on our retreats with Cocoknits. With tuition from Cocoknits’ founder Julie Weisenberger and expert knitter Tracy Russell included in the retreat you’ll learn to knit using the top down seamless knitting method pioneered by Julie. We have an excursion to Lucca planned and plenty of other surprises up our knitted sleeves which are yet to be announced. Please complete the form on the right if you are interested in joining us.
We’re planning two 8 night/9 day retreats: 6-14 June - please go to the home page to find the details of the June retreat which has an emphasis on natural dyeing session - and 24 October-1 November which will comprise knitting and local excursions. We’re still working out the details but the retreat will comprise:

Tour of the Borgo de Pazzi yarn mill in Prato
Coach transfers to /from Florence and Villa Boccella plus all local transport
Excursion to beautiful medieval town of Lucca with guided historical walking tour
