Day 1

Monday 6 October

Early afternoon meet group at Exeter St David’s station (just over an hour by train from London Paddington train station)
Arrive at the Moult in the afternoon
Welcome tea and cake
Aperitifs and dinner at the Moult

Day 2

Tuesday 7 October

Breakfast
Painting: Helen introduces materials, techniques and colour. Painting flowers demonstration
Lunch
Painting: Carolyn demonstrates flower painting
Aperitifs and dinner

Day 3

Wednesday 8 October

Breakfast
Painting: Carolyn demonstrates two different approaches to abstract painting
Lunch at a local restaurant (guest cost)
Painting: Helen demonstrates abstract painting
Aperitifs and dinner

Day 4

Thursday 9 October

Breakfast
Excursion to the pretty town of Salcombe.  Travel by sea tractor and ferryLunch (guest cost)
Return to the Moult
Painting: Helen and Carolyn mushroom painting demonstration (if time)
Aperitifs and dinner

Day 5

Friday 10 October

Breakfast
Painting: Carolyn teaches still life painting with quick paintings of vases or found objects to create a series
Lunch 
Painting: Helen teaches still painting
Aperitifs and dinner

Day 6

Saturday 11 October

Breakfast
Excursion to Overbeck’s Gardens, tropical garden tucked away on the cliffs bursting with colour and filled with exotic plants.
Lunch 
Painting: Carolyn and Helen demonstrate landscape painting including tropical flora seen at Overbeck’s
Aperitifs and dinner

Overnight at The Moult 


Day 7

Sunday 12 October

Breakfast
Painting: Helen teaches seascapes
Lunch 
Painting: Carolyn demonstrates plein air or in studio abstract landscape and seascapes
Aperitifs and dinner

Day 8

Monday 13 October

Breakfast
Check out of the Moult and depart by coach for Saltram*, an elegant Georgian house rich with original art collections and all year round garden and estate overlooking the river Pym. 
Explore Saltram and lunch (guest cost)
3pm ish drop group off at Exeter St David’s station
